At Freshwater State School, we consider physical activity to be a valuable part of a balanced curriculum. Prep through to Year 6 students participate in a broad range of developmentally appropriate physical experiences within the Health and Physical Education strand of the Australian Curriculum.
All students participate in weekly PE sessions with our PE specialist teacher along with whole school/ sector Cross Country, Athletics and Swimming events.
Here at Freshwater we have four sporting teams: Taipans (red), Crocs (yellow), Marlins (blue), and Eagles (purple).
We are a member of the Trinity Coast North (TCN) School Sport District and the Peninsula School Sport Region. Students aged between 10 and12 Years can trial for district and regional teams in a variety of sports.
